Information handled by the site
The pages can be read without creating an account. The current build contains no Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity or equivalent behavioural tracking tag. Calculator values are processed inside the visitor’s browser and are not transmitted by the calculator code.
A hosting provider may still create ordinary server logs containing an IP address, request time, requested page, user agent and error information. Those logs are controlled by the selected host and should be covered by the host’s retention and security settings.
Contact and submitted information
The preview contact form is static and does not currently send or store a submission. A production form must identify its processor and destination before it is enabled. Visitors should never submit passwords, full card or wallet details, identity documents or sensitive account credentials through a general editorial form.
When a reader voluntarily sends a correction or complaint through a configured contact channel, the information should be used only to assess and answer that message, document the evidence supplied and meet any applicable legal obligation.
Outbound and third-party links
Links marked for an external casino destination open another website. That operator applies its own privacy, identity-verification and payment policies. The use of nofollow and noreferrer on an outbound link does not control what the destination collects after it opens.
Review the destination’s privacy notice before opening an account or uploading documents. Aussie Playbook cannot access, correct or erase information stored by an unrelated operator.
How information is used
Information supplied directly to the publication may be used to answer the message, investigate a correction, understand a documented complaint and protect the technical security of the site. It should not be repurposed for unrelated advertising or sold as a customer list.
Aggregated technical information may be used to diagnose broken pages or unusual traffic, provided it is handled through the controls and retention settings of the selected host.
Security limitations
Reasonable technical and organisational controls reduce risk but cannot make internet transmission completely secure. Visitors should minimise the personal data included in ordinary email and use the official secure channel of an operator or regulator for identity evidence.
If a material incident affects information controlled by the publication, the response should follow applicable notification and remediation requirements.
Changes in ownership or providers
If the publication changes owner or core service provider, relevant information may transfer as part of that change under appropriate safeguards. This policy should be updated when the change materially alters who controls data or where it is processed.
A new owner or processor does not receive authority to use previously supplied information for an unrelated purpose without another valid basis.
Retention, security and requests
Editorial correspondence should be retained only for as long as it is needed to answer the request, support a correction or satisfy a legal requirement. Access should be limited to the people responsible for the relevant editorial or technical task.
A reader can use the contact page to ask what information has been supplied directly to the publication or to request correction or deletion where applicable. The request may need enough verification to prevent disclosure to the wrong person.
Age and policy changes
The publication is intended for people aged 18 or over. It is not designed to collect information from children.
Material policy changes should be dated and published on this page. The version in force when information is collected governs that processing unless the law requires another approach.
